Creativity is … ?


 

When people talk about mental health, the conversation usually leans toward therapy, medication, mindfulness, or exercise. All of those matter — but there’s another powerful (and often underestimated) tool we have access to: creativity.

Creativity isn’t limited to painting masterpieces or writing novels. It’s any form of self-expression or problem-solving that lets your mind explore instead of just endure. Cooking a new recipe, journaling thoughts that don’t feel “finished” yet, taking photos on a walk, rearranging your space, making music, gardening, building something with your hands — it all counts.
