My name is Mez Packer, founder of The Write Way. I started writing in 2001, as a way of coping with serious illness and it was soon clear that writing would become my way of life

My first novel, Among Thieves, was published in 2009 and received prize-listings and critical acclaim. My second novel, The Game is Altered, was a foray into Sci-fi and it also received great reviews.

Since then I have published numerous short stories and become increasingly involved with writers and writing development programmes.

I began to teach creative writing for organisations such as Arvon, the Skyros Writers’ Lab and Curtis Brown Creative - and realised I enjoyed supporting writers almost as much as writing itself.

I also worked as an Assistant Professor in Media & Creative Writing for 20+ years, supporting creative people of all ages to enhance their ideas and refine their work. I am able to support ideation and development in almost any medium from film, interactive, installation, photography, scriptwriting, creative organisational development and, of course, writing in all its forms.

Now I have decided to grow my offer and deliver courses to support people in the creative community alongside group & individual mentoring options.
